After numerous changes to Myspace’s coding structure since Hacking Myspace was published I thought it was about time to write an updated tutorial on how to create a div layout.

The group Free Divs (mentioned in Hacking Myspace, Chapter 25) has now launched a website.

Devon of MyScene [Version 3] clearly has a lot of time on his hands, and thank goodness that he does, because he’s spent that time putting together an amazing library of MySpace resources.

Microsoft’s new Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar (still in Beta) is a great tool if you’re creating a MySpace div overlay layout, or if you want to understand how somebody else’s layout works, or if you want to work out the sequence of tags to specify an element (if you want to hide it for example).
