MySpace news, hacks and customization

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” was the philosphy behind my book Hacking MySpace. I’ve always believed that it’s important to show why and how things work, and to give people enough information so that they can go one step further. That’s why I’m impressed with Tom Klenwell’s MySpace Civilized, a blog which really empowers its readers to customize their MySpace profiles.
Hacking MySpace has been available in book stores in the US for the last couple of weeks, but I only received my author’s copies yesterday.
If you have found my book Hacking MySpace an interesting read, or even just find the accompanying web site at http://www.myspaceismyplace.com useful, or just want to show support, please consider helping me get Hacking MySpace into the MySpace Books top ten.
Here’s a sneak preview of the cover of the book (just in from the designer):

This is the companion web site to “Hacking MySpace”, which is due to be released by Wiley Publishing at the end of August 2006.
With more than 90 million profiles on MySpace, how on earth do you make yours stand out?
