This is something I found myself asking earlier in the week and I thought I would look into it a bit and post it here.
I suppose I should explain what I mean by “Myspace Creative’s” first:
Myspace creative’s are what I call the people who design mainly for Myspace. Mainly those who make great looking div or flash layouts but also those who just design really well and promote their work on Myspace.
So, coming to my question - where have they all gone?
I only ask this because I almost never get introduced to new designers on Myspace anymore and I guess I just remember the days when I met new designers pretty much every day on there. Maybe it’s just me being a bit nostalgic but it still remains that a lot of designers on there have disappeared and there aren’t many new designers appearing on the Myspace scene (as far as I can see).
It could also just be that I am not as active on Myspace groups anymore and so don’t see or meet as many new designers as I used to, but there is still a lot of designers who used to be on Myspace have now disappeared and I am trying to understand why.
My Thoughts
I think that the “old” designers on Myspace have disappeared for one of only a few reasons:
1) They have moved on to bigger and better things - e.g. gone to study somewhere (university, college, etc), started designing freelance or joined a company (i.e. not doing Myspace designs).
2) Myspace’s filters became too much work to re-learn coding a Myspace page.
3) They lost their passion for designing.
There could of course be other reasons and if you are a designer who has left Myspace for some reason then it would be nice to hear from you - leave a comment below telling us why you left.

There are tons of myspace layouts for free. Just slip “My Space Layouts” into Google. You’ll get days worth of stuff to inspect.

Quite the contrary here. We get loads of request every week (around 3-5) claiming they can do myspace design. Some of it’s good, most are bad. I assume a lot are using template because they charge around £20 which even at a mediocre professional rate is about 2hours work.
Most seem to be students with a copy of photoshop
