It seems that Myspace have recently released a brand new image uploading applet with some pretty good features from what I can see.
I say “New” because I am not 100% sure that it is new, maybe I have just not used the picture uploading feature on Myspace for a long time. The last time I used it, it was a pretty simple browse button that you clicked and added photos to be uploaded (multiple photos), then clicked submit and it would upload them all - I’m sure you all know what I mean.
Well now there seems to be a new version out to use with a bunch of features that look like they will be useful (either this or they will just cause problems - we’ll see).
New Features
In the new uploader you can navigate to a certain folder on your computer in the left menu and have the images in that folder display on the right area:
As you can see it is very straightforward to use (which will hopefully make it easier for people who aren’t so computer/Internet savvy).
Another feature that I think is great is that you can rotate images before you upload them (by clicking on the clockwise or anti-clockwise arrows when you hover over an image), this is great as it saves you having to do it manually (and saves you uploading pictures that are on their side).
After you have rotated all the photos you want to upload all you have to do now is “check” them all, choose which album you want to put them in (or create a new one) and click “Upload”. It’s as simple as that.
I have had a few people tell me that this new uploader isn’t very reliable - but I’m sure Myspace will sort this out in time. It also doesn’t seem to work in my Opera browser (the upload button just won’t do anything when pressed), but this won’t affect most people.
I just hope they create something like this for videos, I really hate just using the normal file uploader, I’m always too impatient and want to know how long it’s going to take for my video to be uploaded (e.g. some kind of percentage uploaded indicator would be nice to have - even if it’s just that).

Hello, How can i upload this new myspace up loader? I try to add photos but my screen gets retarded and says not responding been like that for over a month.

My friend has this for her uploads on myspace but I don’t, is it because I use Firefox and she uses a newer version of IE?
And the old uploader for me only uploads 1 pic at a time. Hmph its frustrating.
